The goals of this partnership are to:

- Help teachers develop authentic relationships with one another
- Establish a set of non-negotiable ground rules for all student interactions
- Provide educators with tangible tools to help students learn how to mix
- Utilize a shared academic component as a point of entry
- Develop and utilize an evaluation tool that will provide meaningful data for use in future partnerships
